An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Operations to join a fast growing, global Logistics company in a key multi-site management role. The Head of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and leading a team towards achieving strategic goals.

The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing two Midlands based locations along with additional outbases, ensuring that all operational functions are carried out effectively with high levels of service. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in operations management, ready to take on the challenges of a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include

• Lead and manage the operations team to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
• Effectively manage key customer relationships
• Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Skills And Attributes Of The Successful Candidate Include

• Significant experience in warehouse operations management, ideally across multiple sites and in fast-paced operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Contract start-up and implementation skills
• Evidence of delivering improvements to existing operations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience of working in a temperature controlled environment
