MIG Welder

Set up and operate MIG welding machines to perform welds on various metal materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand welding requirements and specifications.

Inspect materials, equipment, and welds for quality and safety before, during, and after welding operations.

Ensure that welds are consistent, structurally sound, and meet industry standards.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines.

Perform routine maintenance on welding machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Troubleshoot welding issues and make adjustments to machinery as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a MIG Welder or in a similar welding role.

Strong knowledge of MIG welding techniques, equipment, and safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

Good physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.

Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, CWB) is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.

Work Environment

Fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing or fabrication setting.

Must be able to work in varying temperatures and potentially noisy environments.
