Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join the growing maintAI team within Operations and support performance excellence within our expanding portfolio of clients.

This is a staff role based in Aberdeen. It is hybrid working, with the expectation of working 3 days from our Aberdeen office.

Responsibilities

The Role

Supporting the delivery of our artificial intelligence-accelerated maintenance optimisation services. The role will involve working closely with clients, our project manager and the technical team to manage and monitor project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Provides the interface and maintains a confident relationship with other contributors to the project
  • Contributes to setting project evaluation parameters
  • Interacts with the project sponsor/customer at a tactical level
  • Regularly reviews and reports project progress to project manager and or customer
  • May manage relationships with external suppliers at a tactical level
  • Solves problems requiring investigation and interpretation
  • Supports preparation for and conducts kick-off meetings and work initiation processes
  • Attends customer meetings and assists with the determination of project requirements, recording of actions & decisions
  • Assists in the drafting and issuance of schedules
  • Prepares project organization charts
  • Uses project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
  • Effectively and accurately communicates relevant project information to the customer and project team
  • Keeps the Project Sponsor/Customer and other stakeholders informed about project status and issues that may impact customer relations, flagging early signs of schedule or budget slippage in order to agree on corrective actions
  • Anticipates and and takes pre-emptive action to address potential conflict situations that may impact on project delivery

Expected

  • Typically requires a University degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience and/or 3 – 8 years in a project delivery environment
