You will be part of a collaborative team culture within the Finance team and working closely with Council activity teams to support all things finance. This is a great role to prepare you for the next stage of your accounting journey.

As The Successful Applicant You Will Have

• a good handle on making numbers reconcile and balance.
• the ability to work with non-accountants and help support them with their budgeting and reporting needs.
• the ability to work with the busy finance team and offer them the support across the financial activities which include monthly reporting, meeting legislative end of year compliance, GST and FBT preparation, supporting a busy accounting administrative team and providing support to the wider organisation across a breadth of financial reconciliations and reporting needs.
• the ability to build and maintain credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• strong analytical and investigative skills as well as problem solving aptitude
• ability to be a team player
