Job Description
In joining our executive team, you will have the opportunity to support our vision and make a tangible difference to our patient population. We are an ambitious organisation, and as we continue our improvement journey to ensure the future success of the organisation, we will require an outstanding Chief Medical Officer to inspire staff to deliver the highest levels of patient care standards. You will also play a major system role across our ICS, developing strategic partnerships, contributing to the configuration of our community services model, embracing and working collaboratively across the local health, mental health and social care system, demonstrating a genuine commitment to patients, the promotion of excellent healthcare, and reduction of health inequalities.
To help us meet these objectives, we would like to appoint a Chief Medical Officer who can play a key role in the Trust, Integrated Care System and the local ‘place’. Whether you have operated at Director level previously or are looking to assume your first Executive post from a sub-board role at a major provider, as our successful candidate you will have a significant leadership track record within a complex healthcare setting and must have demonstrable commitment to putting patients first, have a vision for innovative clinical service delivery and be a genuine role model for our clinical workforce. You will also demonstrate the inclusive leadership abilities needed to develop a high quality working environment, embedding our values in every aspect of our organisation’s work.
In joining our Trust at this critical juncture, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a strong, capable, ambitious and committed executive team and Board of Directors, and will be instrumental in shaping and delivering real sustainable innovation and improvement in the delivery of our services.
We are seeking to increase the diversity of our Board to make it truly representative of our workforce and local population. We would therefore particularly welcome applications from people that are from groups that are under-represented at Board level.
If you feel that your ambition matches ours, we look forward to receiving your application
