Job Description

The University of Tennessee at Martin is accepting applications for a Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships is housed within Enrollment Management in the Division of Academic Affairs. Financial Aid and Scholarships is a high-energy, forward-thinking department that simultaneously handles multiple, on-going projects. This position will require frequent interaction with current and potential students and families at the Martin campus and all six Centers, high schools, supervisees, colleagues within enrollment management, and faculty/staff from across UTM’s campuses. This position will require occasional night and weekend hours.

The Director is ultimately responsible for compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding the awarding and disbursement of financial aid refunds. The Director works closely to enhance and improve the overall enrollment (recruitment, engagement, progression) processes. The Director plays a key role in ensuring the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is continually assessing its activities and service to provide outstanding support to the constituents of UT Martin.
