Obectives Of The Assignment
- This mission will provide the opportunity for a Next Gen marketing talent to gain valuable experience through immersion in the fast-growing North American markets, on key topics of brand elevation as well as foster stronger connections between the Region and Central, enabling more agile knowledge sharing and cooperation.
- Candidate will come away with an understanding of the US market and its various dynamics. Focus areas, but not limited to evolving luxury business model, retail environment, shopping habits, luxury market landscape, media habits, and consumer insights.
Job responsibilities
Responsabilities
- Participation in defining product marketing strategy for the North American markets.
- Management of the key activities and resources necessary to achieve the objectives.
- Contribution to various analytical works and reporting to clarify needs and corresponding briefs.
- Monitoring and analysis of product performance as well as competitors activities, to provide insights to investments and the weight of promotions.
- Support launching of 360 support strategy in the US in partnership with various departments. (Education, Events, PR, Sales, etc.)
About The Country/Market
- The US market is a dynamic and complex market for any aspiring marketer to experience. What makes the US market exciting and unique is the size of the market, diversity in the shopper as well as geographic, and its influence on world trends.
- All work will be conducted out of the NY office under the supervision of the vice president of marketing of skincare who has developed past VIEs who have moved onto relevant professional job placements both within Dior/LVMH and external. Scope will not be limited to just 1 category to maximize candidate’s exposure to Dior’s product portfolio. Marketing team is comprised of 30 individuals with vast experiences in both the market and the luxury industry. Although the scope of this mission will be focused in brand marketing, the department includes trade marketing as well as media.

- Nuances of each key market (geographic specifics, demographics)
- Understanding of US retail landscape (wholesale and direct)
- US retailer and internal presentations/discussions/negotiations
- Media habits and levers
- Working with a diverse team of talent
Selection Criteria
- CREATE PASSIONATELY: You demonstrate a solid foundation in functional marketing skills, including product positioning and portfolio management, data analysis & benchmarking. Ideally, you also possess a strong creativity to propose outstanding 360 marketing plans.
- EXCEL FOR ULTIMATE LUXURY: You have an outstanding affinity for and knowledge of the Parfums Christian Dior brand and DNA of the maison, as well as how we express our brand through creativity & innovation; passion to represent the brand and transmit its rich heritage.
- LEAD WITH AUDACITY: You demonstrate strong long-term potential to develop and evolve in an international marketing career at Parfums Christian Dior beyond the scope of this mission.
