The purpose of the Warehouse Assistant ensures efficient warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and products. This role supports inventory management, maintains safety standards, and contributes to the overall productivity of the ofi Dairy Plant.

Reporting to the Logistics Officer you will be accountable for:

  • Ensure all Inwards and Outbound deliveries are completed in a timely manner
  • Complete daily goods receipting
  • Complete stock and cycle counts within defined timeframes with high level of accuracy
  • Create Transfer documents including attaching of source documents for all Outbound deliveries by end of each business day
  • Complete daily production reporting and ensure shipping orders are fulfilled and dispatched on time and in full
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory and storage area
  • Ensure trucks are booked via SAP entry. Ensure batches are matched based on priority and truck availability.
  • Production Coordination
  • Ensure production records are accurately captured, maintained, and reported whilst proactively innovating solutions for any anomalies.

This role is suitable for someone with competent computer skills and the ability to work autonomously. Results oriented, you will have proven problem-solving skills and be committed to meeting the highest standards.

  • Inventory control experience preferred
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications including MS Word and Excel and SAP
  • Familiar with inventory scanner systems
  • Ability to safely use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks
  • Current forklift license preferred
