Comité International D’Ethique et de Solidarité (COM.INT.E.S) in Togo has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. COM.INT.E.S. is a proud implementing partner of two significant projects in Togo: the Promotion of Agricultural Financing Project, focused on supporting local farms and agro-industrial businesses in rural areas, and the Health System Strengthening Project- Reproductive Health and Sexual Rights, aimed at enhancing the health system in Togo. COM.INT.E.S. has identified a need for support to develop a robust Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (MER) system and strengthen the technical capacity of staff in monitoring and evaluation.

The PCRV will collaborate with COM.INT.E.S. to evaluate and design a MER system/plan aligned with the organization’s strategies and project objectives and co-facilitate the implementation of the MER tools across all projects and initiatives.

The PCRV will also co-train and coach COM.INT.E.S. staff on the utilization of MER tools and strengthen the capacity of staff to effectively write quarterly, semi-annual, annual reports and grant proposals and to conduct data driven planning.

Candidates selected for this position will be arriving in Togo together as a group, so while the departure dates for the whole group could change, dates cannot be changed for individual candidates.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study
  • At least one year of professional experience using MER tools, processes, and technical skills
  • Intermediate level (oral and written) skills in French language
  • Flexibility, cross-cultural agility, ability to work independently, resourceful, creative, and genuinely motivated.
