Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • Experience in developing software applications using Java programming language.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in back-end, Application Programming Interface (API) design, software architecture.
  • Experience in infrastructure design, storage systems, e-commerce, billing systems or payment processing.
  • Experience in Android App Development.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable, low latency, resilient mobile and web applications and back-end systems.
  • Build a next-generation commerce software platform that will eventually allow customers to buy hardware and subscription products on multiple sites.
  • Design website capabilities to delight consumers as they learn about and purchase our hardware products.
  • Set technical direction, guide a team to build services powering mobile apps, and mentor software engineers with a focus on reliability and scalability.
