Requirements
- Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Georgia
- Preferred
- Three years or more nursing experience
Work Environment
The Pharmacy Nurse Team Lead is a full time in-facility position.
Physical Requirements
The position requires the ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds and push fully stocked medication carts on wheels. There are varying amounts of standing & walking, sitting, and frequent close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing, etc.). Physical demands may vary depending on the facility.

Summary
The Pharmacy Nurse Team Lead is a hybrid staffing and leadership role in a correctional facility. In addition to completing the pharmacy nurse daily responsibilities the Pharmacy Nurse Team Lead manages the pharmacy daily operations, assists in maintaining compliance, identifies problems, and creates solutions. This individual works closely with the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement pharmacy operations and process improvements. The Pharmacy Nurse Team Lead directly reports to the FirstClass Healthcare (FCH) facility Nursing Leadership.
