Job Description
The Children’s Physiotherapy Team is part of the Community Children’s and Young Peoples Specialist Service sitting within the Community Health Care Group.
Our service offers physiotherapy and occupational therapy for children within clinic bases and the community . Our Therapy Team consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Orthotists, Assistant Practitioners, and Support Workers providing therapy support and input for the children, families and carers to enable them to improve their function, reach and maintain their independence and achieve their goals.
The duties of this post include carrying out delegated tasks to support the physiotherapists. Working alongside them with patients and also working more independently to support children and young people access their physiotherapy equipment and programmes at schools, nurseries and in their homes.
