Little Ruby’s Cafe is seeking a Barista/Packer/Expo to join our Ghost Kitchen team in NYC! This role is essential in ensuring smooth takeout and catering operations by preparing beverages, packing orders, and expediting food efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong attention to detail, we’d love to have you on board!

Job Responsibilities

• Pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all modifications are met per order ticket.
• Prepare coffee and tea beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, and smoothies.
• Communicate with the kitchen team to expedite food and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station and overall workspace.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by carefully reviewing orders before handing them off.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of perishable items.
• Assist with catering orders to ensure accuracy and timely dispatch.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain efficient operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous barista, expo, or packing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask efficiently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and general food safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
• Food Handling Certificate (preferred but not required).
