Job Summary

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and maintaining high operational standards. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and assisting in financial performance while upholding brand values.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery.
  • Supervise the floor, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance guest experience.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards align with brand expectations.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead, motivate, and coach team members to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding new employees.
  • Support with scheduling and managing shift operations to optimize staffing levels.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

Financial & Inventory Management

  • Assist in monitoring financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Manage inventory levels, control waste, and oversee ordering processes.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and reconciliation at the end of shifts.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Implement and maintain company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Marketing & Customer Engagement

  • Support promotional activities and events to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Assist in managing CRM programs to enhance guest loyalty and retention.
  • Engage with customers to build relationships and enhance the overall dining experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role preferably in a premium or fine dining concept.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with POS systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Language: Proficiency in Arabic & English.
