They are hiring a Head of Sales – LATAM to lead sales efforts in Brazil ??, Mexico ??, and beyond!
You will develop and lead a world-class sales organization in LATAM. This is the right role for you if you have excelled as both a salesperson and a sales manager in a high-growth B2B SaaS company. Essentials – Experience
- You were a top-performing salesperson in a high-growth B2B SaaS/software product company.
- You have 2+ years of experience as a Sales Lead, Sales Manager, or similar in a high-growth, venture-backed B2B SaaS company. Your team has been one of the top-performing teams in the company.
Essentials – Skills
- You regularly join sales calls with your team, co-sell with them, and do whatever it takes to help get deals closed. You lead from the front.
- You can develop a well-honed sales process and sales playbook.
- Your deal reviews are rigorous. You ask probing questions of your team to ensure that deals are properly qualified and pipeline value is real.
- You run weekly 1-on-1s with all your direct reports, knowing when and how to intervene when things aren’t on track.
- You genuinely love coaching and developing your team, being fully invested in their career development.
- You can think strategically about product, market positioning, pricing, and packaging.
- You are opinionated on the CRM, tools, and tech stack that a modern B2B SaaS sales team needs to succeed. You have a clear wishlist in mind.
- You are active on LinkedIn and engage in social selling.
- You thrive at hosting webinars and speaking at conferences/large events to spread the word about the product you’re selling.
Essentials – Personality Traits
- You are excited and motivated to own the LATAM revenue target.
- You are obsessed with reaching your full potential and aiming for a VP of Sales or CRO role in the next 3-5 years.
- You want to make a lot of money.
- You have a bias for action over analysis, delivering measurable impact in your first 100 days.
- You are extremely ambitious and results-focused but also a decent human being.
- You give feedback honestly and calmly and never shy away from hard conversations, but you never use aggression as part of your management tactics.
- You have an owner mindset and are a hustler by default.
- You think from first principles and have excellent judgment.
Essentials – Other
- You are fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- You are based in or near São Paulo.
Core Responsibilities
- Fully own the LATAM revenue target.
- Own pipeline creation in Year 1, via sales team outbound. From Year 2 onwards, you will jointly own pipeline creation with marketing.
- Regularly join calls with the sales team and co-sell with them.
- Fully own the sales process and sales playbook, making major adjustments or starting from scratch if needed.
- Run 1-on-1s with each team member every week.
- Manage, motivate, and coach the sales team.
- Implement career development plans for each team member.
