QA Lead (Automation) – Remote India Position filled

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead with a strong background in automation testing and a proven track record of working on AI/ML projects. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in quality assurance, with a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead testing efforts, mentor junior team members, and ensure the highest standards of quality in our software products.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Oversee and execute testing activities for AI/ML projects, ensuring robust and reliable software.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
• Develop and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs, web applications, and mobile applications.
• Develop and execute test strategies specifically for AI/ML models, including data validation, model validation, and performance testing.
• Work closely with data scientists and developers to ensure AI/ML models meet quality standards and perform as expected in production.
• Ensure software compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

Candidate Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
• Proven experience in testing AI/ML projects.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with testing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, tools, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
