Family Practice – Without OB Physician

A Family Practice Physician is needed at a primary care private practice in Boerne, TX, to provide comprehensive healthcare services, manage chronic diseases, and perform in-office procedures. The role requires a medical degree, a valid Texas medical license, and preferably board certification in Family Medicine, with training available for new graduates. The position offers a full-time schedule with a dedicated support team and opportunities for community engagement in a tranquil environment near San Antonio.

We are currently looking for a family medicine physician to join our primary care, private practice in Boerne, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including acute, chronic, and preventive care.
• Manage common pathologies, such as chronic disease management and urgent care cases.
• Perform in-office procedures, including biopsies, joint injections, hormone replacement therapy (HRT/Bio-T), and womens health services (female providers typically handle GYN visits).
• Maintain a balanced schedule with 2024 patients per day.
• Collaborate with highly skilled support staff, including Medical Assistants (1:1 ratio), front desk staff, billers, and office management.

Schedule & Call Coverage

• Full-time schedule includes a half-day on Fridays, with flexibility to accommodate acute care and urgent care visits.
• Call rotation: 1:6, with a Nurse Care Line to minimize interruptions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with a valid medical license in Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply (support and training available).
• Procedural experience in biopsies, joint injections, and hormone replacement therapy preferred.
