Studio Management is a data-driven asset manager with a proven track record of investing in public equities, posting 5-year returns that are in the top 1% of all hedge funds. Studio is led by Alap Shah who has 15 years of investment experience.

Responsibilities:

Studio is seeking a junior investment analyst to be a key member of the public markets investment team. The junior analyst will report to a the senior analyst but will work with the entire team. This position entails working on all components of the research process such as screening & identifying trends, formulating & updating financial models, and creating & updating investment theses. Studio primarily invests in US-based consumer and technology companies.

Requirements:

• Ability to work well in a team setting & the desire to assist on any task at hand
• Exceptional time management skills to balance a high volume of time-sensitive requests
• Willingness to be a self-starter in an autonomous work environment
• Strong quantitative skills and interest in financial models

Nice-to-haves:

• Degree in economics (or similar discipline) from a top institution in the United States or abroad
• Previous internship or research experience in financial markets
• A proven interest in public markets investing demonstrated by side projects or club membership

Details:

• This is a full-time, remote position that will work EST hours. New York City domicile is preferred, but not required
• The junior analyst will be paid a competitive base salary and a discretionary performance-based bonus
