Events Administrative Assistant (Siena Brands)

Job Description

DineAmic Hospitality is currently seeking an Event Coordinator who will provide direct support to the Event Sales Managers. The Event Coordinator will assist with all event marketing efforts, responding to customer inquiries, consulting with clients and event & catering operations.The ideal candidate will have at least two years of event or marketing experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant; creative ideas to drive sales and repeat business; and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

General Functions + Responsibilities

Sales and Marketing

  • Assists restaurant in creating, maintaining positive and influential brand presence
  • Work with core marketing team on ad campaigns & content to market restaurant
  • Assists with development and implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Track sales data for each promotion/event; analyze trends; make recommendations to increase sales/attendance
  • Maintain relationships with repeat guests & clientele

Event Management

  • Work closely with Event Sales and Marketing Manager on all inbound event leads, selling, event planning, overseeing all contracted events on and off-premise
  • Able to organize time effectively, forward plan and prioritize tasks/projects to ensure workload is balanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with various vendors
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Responsible for large party reservations in the Main Dining Room
  • Administrative duties including preparing meeting materials, creating event contracts and other tasks as assigned by the Event Sales and Marketing Manager

?Experience + Educational Requirements

  • Minimum two years of event or marketing experience, preferably in a restaurant setting
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with management teams and clients

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Flexible with scheduling, including evening and weekend hours and holidays
  • Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more per day
  • Ability to lift, carry up to 50 pounds
