About The Role

The AFL Travel Program Coordinator is a casual position, responsible for administration, planning and execution support of the AFL Travel Program. Whilst reporting into the Premium Growth Executive, this role will support the AFL Travel Program by liaising with key stakeholder groups to manage inventory across a range of ticketing, flight and hotel packages. They will play a central role in ensuring the smooth operation of the AFL Travel program and support in the delivery of key program objectives.

Please note weekend work may be required.

Key Accountabilities

Sales & Operations:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and coordinate inventory management processes in relation to AFL Travel packages, and ensure accuracy and availability across accommodation, flights & match tickets
  • Program Administration and Support: Providing administrative support for the AFL Travel program, including managing schedules, documentation, and communications
  • Project Coordination: Assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the AFL Travel program’s milestones and deliverables
  • Administrative support for key revenue-related programs including Grand Final, Gather Round & AFL Finals

Stakeholder Management

  • AFL Club Point of Contact: Acting as the primary liaison with AFL clubs for all matters relating to the AFL Travel program, in conjunction with AFL team
  • General Travel Group Point of Contact: Engaging with external travel groups and managing their requests and needs.
  • Key conduit between the broader sales teams and the AFL Event Office for program launch, management and fulfillment
  • Support Premium Growth Manager & Premium Growth Executive with management of AFL & Marvel Stadium Agents
  • Proactively engage internal & external stakeholders to manage online presence and event execution
  • Match day and non-match day customer experience & event day support

Core Competencies

  • Minimum 1-2 years in project coordination, and/or commercial support role
  • High attention to detail and proactivity
  • Demonstrated ability to forge strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and experience with CRM systems (Salesforce experience well-regarded)
  • Career interest in sport, events, hospitality, and entertainment industry a bonus
  • Experience with online or eCommerce sales & inventory management a bonus
