Job Summary

What You Will Do As A Front End Developer (React.js)

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver solutions??
• Maintain code quality through testing and code reviews??

What Will You Bring As A Front End Developer (React.js)

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or four years of equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of experience working on React.js or related frameworks
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (AWS amlipfy)
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimisation
• Familiarity with code versioning tools {?{such as Git, SVN}}
• Experience with project tracking and issue management tools, such as Jira
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing for React components.
• Experience optimizing web applications for performance and scalability
