Apple Tree Dental, located near 136th and I-25 in Thornton, is hiring an experienced EDDA-Dental Assistant with a background in general dentistry. This is a full-time, Monday-Thursday position. We seek an EDDA-Dental Assistant who will bring reliability, a strong work ethic, a fun attitude, and a team-oriented and patient-centric focus to our practice.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:15pm

Your Primary Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Welcoming patients into the practice with a genuine and caring welcome using the patient’s name
- Preparing patients for treatment to ensure the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
- Preparing rooms for surgical and restorative procedures
- A thorough review of patient health history adding updates as necessary
- Assisting the Dentist chairside and the ability to work independently as well
- Capturing diagnostic radiographs
- Capturing 3D scans – experience with iTero is a plus
- Assisting with Invisalign cases
- Placing composite restorations
- Assisting with all types of prosthodontic procedures
- Providing postoperative instructions after procedures, answering any questions patients may have about dental care provided, and scheduling appointments for follow-up care
- Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
- Maintaining a timely schedule
- Managing lab cases, including tracking, progress, and delivery
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory and supplies
- Monitoring and maintaining dental equipment
Requirements
- 2 + years of EDDA experience is required
- X-Ray certification
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Reliable, hard working, and attention to detail
- Denticon software experience is a plus but not required
