Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Procurement: Support the procurement team in sourcing raw materials, hardware, and other supplies needed for furniture manufacturing.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Order Processing: Prepare purchase orders, track orders, and ensure that all orders are received in good condition and on time.
  • Cost Control: Assist in analyzing market trends to identify potential cost savings and ensure procurement within the budget.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
