We are seeking a COUNTRY MANAGER (CM) for our client in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector to oversee the company’s operations, growth, and performance in Cameroon

PURPOSE Country Manager (CM)

The Country Manager will drive the company’s growth and operational excellence in Cameroon by leading strategic planning, market expansion, and revenue generation. Ensure compliance with local regulations, foster key partnerships, and align business objectives with the global strategy. The ideal candidate will spearhead cross-functional collaboration and efficient resource management to enhance performance and long-term success in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Cameroon operations, including timely delivery of reports which must include financial and sales data in the required manner
  • Responsible for the revenue target Country Manager (CM)
  • Improve the company’s market position and achieve financial growth.
  • Establish relationships with IT vendors and key industry stakeholders
  • Manage key customer relationships and actively develop new business opportunities in Cameroon market
  • Work with the internal team and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue, ensuring minimum gross profit margin targets are met.
  • Manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.
  • Prospect and develop new clientele and turn this into increased business.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, certifications and training; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating relevant in professional events.
  • Develop a good marketing plan for the company’s products and businesses

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Country Manager (CM)

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.
  • 8 + years of experience in ICT, technology solutions, or related industries.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships based on trust and collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
  • Highly adaptable, strategic, and proactive, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to drive favorable outcomes and business success.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI, cybersecurity, IoT, and data analytics.
  • Strong background in B2B sales, client acquisition, and account management.
