Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Computer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least a 12th-grade education and a basic understanding of computer operations, with the ability to perform various office tasks that require computer proficiency. As a Computer Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties and data management tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the office. This role is office-based and will require the candidate to work from the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Management: One of the core responsibilities is performing data entry tasks accurately. This includes inputting, updating, and maintaining various databases and systems. You will ensure all entries are correct and up-to-date to support the operational needs of the business.
  • Document Management: You will assist in managing documents, both physical and digital. This includes scanning, filing, and retrieving files when needed. Proper organization of documents and maintaining records for future reference will be a key aspect of your role.
  • Handling Computer Systems: You will operate computers, input data, and use various office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You must be proficient in operating different types of software and troubleshooting minor issues with hardware or software.
  • Typing and Formatting: A significant part of the role involves typing letters, reports, and other official documents. You will be required to maintain a high level of typing speed and accuracy, ensuring that all documents are formatted correctly and delivered on time.
  • Office Support Tasks: You may be called upon to assist with other office tasks such as printing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies. Ensuring that the office environment remains organized and functional is crucial for the smooth operation of the team.
  • Communication and Coordination: As a Computer Operator, you will interact with different departments and individuals. Effective communication and coordination are necessary to support the flow of information and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
  • Data Backup and Security: Ensuring the safety and security of data is a priority. You will assist in regular backups of important data and files and adhere to office data protection policies. Attention to detail is essential to prevent data loss.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12th-grade education. A diploma or certification in computer operations or similar fields will be a plus.

  • Strong typing speed and accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
