About This Opportunity
The Website Designer is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function according to a client’s specifications. They strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. They are an experienced and creative professional with a passion for website design, development, and marketing to enhance our online presence.
Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day
- Evaluate and collect all user requirements, and collaborate with product engineers and managers.
- Illustrate design concepts, use sitemaps, process flows, and storyboards.
- Create graphic user interface elements such as tabs, widgets, and menus.
- Collect and evaluate user requirements with the help of product managers and engineers.
- Work with a number of different CMS tools.
- Use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts.
- Menus, tabs, and widgets are examples of graphic user interface elements.
- Make page navigation buttons and search fields.
- Create UI mockups and prototypes that clearly show how sites work and look.
- Make unique graphic designs.
- Rough draughts should be prepared and presented to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve UX issues.
- Make layout changes based on user feedback. Follow font, color, and image style guidelines.
What You Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- 2 to 4 years of web design and/or web development experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects.
- Proficiency in wireframe tools such as Figma, Wireframe.cc and InVision.
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating a team spirit and strong communication skills.
