Gemini Geebung is a small repair shop specialising in rapid repairs on drivable cars. Insurance partner RACQ provides a steady stream of work for the team of 17. The team is young and energetic, with lots of fun to be had between hard work — including regular social events laid on by the business. The site if fully equipped, including welders and two spray booths, and is easy to reach from Sandgate Road or Geebung Station.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Assembler to join the team at Gemini Geebung.

Permanent position, Monday to Friday.

Great working conditions to do your best work! If you have experience in mechanics and are looking for a change, or are skilled in stripping and refit of vehicles, then we may be for you.

You will work alongside our technicians and assist in the stripping of cars and refitting their panels and door trims.

Role responsibilities

  • Reassemble vehicles in accordance with documented procedures and processes
  • Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability
  • Any ad hoc duties throughout the workshop as directed by leadership
  • Cleaning and polishing vehicles once repairs are complete
  • Ensuring the vehicle is cleaned in accordance with documented processes and procedures
