Description Of Work
The primary purpose of the position is to teach K-6 graduate and undergraduate courses in the elementary education program in both face-to-face and on-line environments; provide student advisement; supervise practicum experiences and/or internships; maintain scholarly productivity; and provide service to the university, community, and profession.

Possess the ability to use technology in teaching and learning and be knowledgeable of gathering and utilizing electronic data for student growth and program improvement.
Minimum Training And Experience
Doctorate ( ABD accepted -must have PhD at time of employment) in Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Teaching and Learning, Math or a related field is required. Must demonstrate potential for research and scholarship. Three (3) years of teaching in an elementary public-school setting preferred and eligibility for N.C. teaching license required.
