About The Role
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Basingstoke. As a Primary Teacher at our school, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the educational journey of young minds across multiple subjects, with a focus on behaviour support. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum while fostering a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for students with behavioural needs.
Primary Teacher Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects, ensuring inclusivity and meeting the national curriculum requirements.
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural.
- Build strong relationships with students and colleagues, promoting a positive classroom culture.
- Motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential, supporting their academic and personal growth.
- Foster a nurturing learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
- Manage and address any behavioural challenges, working collaboratively with other staff members.
- Use appropriate resources and teaching aids to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements ForPrimary Teacher Role
- Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a similar qualification.
- Passionate about working within an SEN setting and making a positive impact on students’ lives
- A full checkable work history
- Passion for and experience with behaviour support.
- Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
- A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
