About The Role

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Basingstoke. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN) and are committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive education, we want to hear from you!

As a Primary Teacher at our school, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the educational journey of young minds across multiple subjects, with a focus on behaviour support. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum while fostering a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for students with behavioural needs.

Primary Teacher Role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects, ensuring inclusivity and meeting the national curriculum requirements.
• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural.
• Build strong relationships with students and colleagues, promoting a positive classroom culture.
• Motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential, supporting their academic and personal growth.
• Foster a nurturing learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
• Manage and address any behavioural challenges, working collaboratively with other staff members.
• Use appropriate resources and teaching aids to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements ForPrimary Teacher Role

• Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a similar qualification.
• Passionate about working within an SEN setting and making a positive impact on students’ lives
• A full checkable work history
• Passion for and experience with behaviour support.
• Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
• A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
