Job Description
The UX Designer creates intuitive user experiences for various web and mobile applications, collaborates with stakeholders and the development team in order to design, develop, and launch the product. This individual needs to be adept at integrating user insights across the design of sophisticated information architecture and user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Models and tools: Map journeys, annotate and synthesize important information during interviews, bring insights from tests with users, create holistic low/high-fidelity prototypes that showcase the user flow and interactions; User tests, Wireframes, Prototypes, and Mockups; deliver user flows and interaction maps/sitemaps.
- Value capture: Be responsible for mapping one journey/persona; Design clear and creative conceptual work-flow oriented wireframes/prototypes to guide the team; plan and conduct user research, user testing, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping; resolve user pain points through great design; Storyboarding to illustrate a service; Know how to interpret and process raw research data.
- User experience: Able to conduct qualitative user experience research and testing through end-to-end contextual interviews, utilizing insights from more quantitative A/B testing and rapid prototyping; Develop product + service concepts that contribute to the user experience and interface efforts for the team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product for end users.
- Data usage: Create appropriate documentation; Help maintain a well-documented catalog of services.
Requirements
- Expertise in prototyping tools (preferably Figma), online boards such as Miro and other collaborative platforms, and experience collaborating with graphics and visual design teams, understanding a diverse set of software tools.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to effectively manage and execute design projects.
- Knowledge of Design Thinking principles.
- Experience contributing to and using design systems.
- Preferred qualification: Experience with UI (user interface) design.
