Job Description
The Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) is responsible for developing strategic partnerships that are integral to the success of the business and to support the achievement of goals and objectives from the Human Resources perspective.
This role manages employee relations, fosters relationships with team members and leadership, and ensures legal compliance. Aligns with system strategies to drive business outcomes and support organizational growth.

Office Location: Downtown Orlando
Travel: 25%-50%, including outside of assigned region
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Counsels and influences business leaders in complex HR issues.
- Ensures consistent policy interpretation and education.
- Manages and conducts thorough investigations into alleged employee relations concerns, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Overseesthe internal dispute resolution process, medical record audits, compliance calls and conductsteam member exit interviews.
- Engages stakeholders and partners on a regular cadence to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Advises Orlando Health leaders and team members, offering recommendations to resolve or mediate employee relations concerns.
- Manages the planning and facilitation of training programs focused on employee relations and compliance.
- Analyzes employee relations trends with leadership and helps develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies.
- Works closely and collaboratively with other Orlando Health departments, including site HR teams and operational leadership.
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and a nuanced understanding of the communication needs of different audiences, representing Orlando Health professionally.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of employment laws, reducing risks and ensuring compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed.
- Maintains reasonably regular punctual attendance, consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

- Exhibits excellent relationship-building and consultative skills with leaders and is regarded as a trusted advisor.
- Handles sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to travel up to 25% – 50%, including outside of assigned region.
Qualifications
Education/Training.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
Licensure/Certification
Experience
SHRM-CP or PHR Certification Preferred.
Five (5) years of progressive human resources experience.
Three (3) or more years in employee relations, with a focus on legal and regulatory issues.
