Description

The assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach with coordination of all phases of a competitive NJCAA Division I football program. Including but not limited to coaching, recruiting, budget management, travel management, rules and eligibility compliance, administrative duties, departmental fundraising, game management, academic advising, marketing, promotions and public relations.

Job Duties

• Develop and implement game strategies and playbooks
• Conduct practice sessions and drills to improve players’ skills
• Analyze game footage to enhance player performance
• Recruit talented high school athletes to join the team
• Mentor and provide guidance to student-athletes on academic and personal matters
• Coordinate with athletic trainers to ensure player health and safety
• Ensure compliance with NJCAA rules and regulations
• Evaluate and provide feedback on player performances

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years coaching and/or competing in the respective sport
• Ability to pass a background check, have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
