Job Vacancy : Cashier CUM Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage cash transactions, handle customer payments, and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and reconcile daily sales reports, cash summaries, and deposit slips.
• Manage and balance cash registers, petty cash, and change funds.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and file tax returns, GST returns, and other statutory compliance.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to analyze sales data, optimize pricing, and improve profitability.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in accounting, cash handling, or a related field.
• Excellent accounting skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
