LOCATION: Remote with minimal travel requirements.
REPORTS TO: Compliance Manager
KEY RELATIONSHIPS AND TEAM: The Compliance Assistant will support the Compliance Team by reviewing product contracts for procedural requirements, law changes, and limited submission types.
THE OPPORTUNITY: To improve response time to clients, the Compliance Assistant will assist in providing better service to product companies by supporting the Compliance Team in reviewing initial submissions, resubmissions, same or similar, and replica contract submission. In addition, the Compliance Assistant will also review submissions for law changes and ensure procedural contract obligations are met.
Specifically, the Compliance Assistant will have responsibility to:
- Handle (electronic) product contract initial submissions, resubmission, same, similar submissions (SOS), replica, and law change submissions.
- Review contracts to determine whether contracts meet certain procedural requirements.
- Maintain organized files at all times.
- Assist with maintaining the legislative, regulatory and litigation tracking system.
- Draft the monthly legislative newsletter.
- Assist the Client Success Team when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Associates degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand legal language, principles, and research methods.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to coordinate, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
The following knowledge, skills, education, and experiences are preferred:
- Prior Paralegal experience
