Cabinet Draftsman

We are currently seeking an experienced Draftsmen to work full-time. Applicants must be able to read floor plans and diagrams with great attention to detail. Must have experience with drawing both commercial and residential cabinets. All applicants must be able to start by 8:00a.m. Monday through Friday. Pay is weekly.

Job Description:

• Draw custom cabinets for residential buildings
• Communicate with design department, homeowners, and builders for approved drawings
• Create drawings, files, and cut-list for shop, CNC machine and razor gage.
• A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and adaptability to handle changing project requirements.
• Ability to read architectural plans, specifications, and design drawings to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project scope including any specific client preferences.

Expected Knowledge And Skills

• Excellent (verbal and written) communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
• Must have experience with Cabinet Vision Solids
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with Management and Team Members
• Highly dependable with excellent work attendance record.
• Cabinet drafting experience for residential and commercial
• Proficient with Office PC applications (i.e., MS Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Demonstrate ability to organize and manage time.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16”
• Scale Plans with ¼” Scale
• Great attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• High School Diploma
• Valid ID and Drivers License

During the interview process, there will be a drawing test and a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cabinet Vision: 3 years (Required)
• Residential Cabinet Drafting: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
