HOURS: 36 hours a week (term time only) – flexible working may be considered

SALARY: SCP 3 – 4 (£24,027- £24,404 pa) pro rata (£20,315-£20,633 pa actual salary)

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Birkdale High School is part of the Southport Learning Trust, which currently includes Greenbank High School, Stanley High School, Maghull High School, Meols Cop High School, Range High School, Bedford Primary School and Kew Woods Primary School.

Birkdale High School is a popular and successful all-boys’ 11-16 comprehensive Academy with an excellent reputation, outstanding pastoral care and consistently above national average academic results.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed person to join our SEND department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and inclusive school and make a genuine and significant difference to the lives of children. The successful candidate will work within the SEND department supporting individual pupils including those on the autistic spectrum or with complex social and emotional needs.

The successful candidate is required to start as soon as possible. The appointment is permanent.
