Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for developing and leading complex product PR/AR strategies aligned with business objectives, managing sensitive product communications on PR/AR matters, and contributes to adoption of innovative product PR/AR principles. The role collaborates with engineering and product management to execute product goals while ensuring user inputs are taken into consideration. The role coordinates product news and launch activities, maintains media relationships, and provides media training for executive and sales leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, drives and evaluates complex PR/AR strategies and programs in support of business objectives or revenue targets.
  • Prepares news and launch activities, including coordinating media and analyst interviews, tours, events, generating releases, presentations and other materials as appropriate.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with top media, analysts and industry leaders (business, national, global).
  • Develops strong relationships with media and influencers across a range of categories and ecosystems.
  • Provides media and spokesperson training for executive and sales leadership as needed.
  • Leads PR/AR strategies, policies, standards, and direction.
  • Collaborates with engineering and product management to shape, support, and execute product goals, by elevating the voice of the user as an input into decision.
  • Identifies and rapidly responds to emerging topics and other sensitive product communications issues on PR/AR matters, and handles relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Contributes to the development and adoption of innovative PR/AR principles and practices across the organization.
  • Manages and motivates agencies to drives projects from conception to completion, bringing strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage budgets, deliverables and deadlines.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in content creation, social media management, product launch, PR, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $149,900 to $238,850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
