See for further details about us and careers with Metas. Job Description: Metas Solutions has an immediate opening for Public Health Global Coordinator located in Atlanta, GA to join our team. We are looking for a talented, professional public health master’s graduate to communicate with project areas in the U.S. and overseas to establish new and strengthen existing national public health institutes in countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate meetings, conference calls, and written communication with identified project areas and stakeholders participating in each project based on established program standard operating procedures. Stakeholders will be based in both the U.S. and overseas. Maintain documentation of project communication and site visits on existing national public health institute program SharePoint site, program shared drive, Teams, and in other formats as required by each project, in accordance with established program standard operating procedures. Respond to inquiries for country project or associated information in collaboration with each multi-disciplinary project team, including providing quarterly updates for the country support metrics (CSMs). summarizing the country management tool on a quarterly basis. Coordinate quarterly solicitation and compilation of input from subject matter experts and country contacts on client Program indicators and project monitoring tools and materials. Coordinate quarterly updates (if necessary) of client Program materials including technical reference materials focused on essential public health functions, operations, and services, discussion guides, assessment forms, project SOWs work planning forms, indicators, reports, forms, presentations, and other associated materials provided by the client team. Draft revisions of materials based on input and present to team for reviewals needed and determined by client program leadership draft new technical materials project monitoring tools, essential public health functions, operations, and services, and program monitoring and evaluation efforts. Finalize revisions based on team review and coordinate updates to program website with updated materials. Implementation and management of client-specific program activities in priority countries aimed at strengthening core public health functions around surveillance, emergency response, workforce development, and laboratory systems. Lead and support management of client’s Program Teams special projects, including Health Equity, etc. Assist with budget development and financial management of client program team country investments. The staff will travel internationally with this program to provide technical assistance to establish new projects scopes of work, workplans, analysis of existing project plans, and developing strategic plans that meet the mission of the client. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Fluency in written and spoken French. Experience supporting public health programs in Francophone. Master’s degree from an accredited university in a public health or scientific research related field with a focus on public health. epidemiology, or nursing preferred Minimum of two (2) years in public health, epidemiology and experience with some project management preferred. Experience with population-based survey design, data collection and data analysis using programs such as SAS, R, STATA. Experience engaging with project stakeholders (e.g., facilitating trainings, delivering presentations, moderating working groups, and providing technical assistance). Familiar with medical record abstraction of medical and laboratory records. Experience with public health and scientific research, public health, epidemiology, or nursing is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners and stakeholders. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude with the client. and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Ability to travel as required. Security and Salary Requirements: Must be eligible to legally work in the United States and with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period.
