Business Insider is hiring a Manager to join our Marketing Solutions team to deliver strategic content and media strategies for our clients across Business, Tech and Innovation.

The Role & Team:

As a Manager, Marketing Solutions you will own the RFP/RFI/Proactive workflow for specific accounts and collaborate closely with the sales, media planning and content teams to develop client solutions using data-driven insights.

This role reports directly to the Associate Director, Marketing Solutions and sits on the Global Marketing & Studios team in Business Insider’s Advertising org. This position is based in our New York City HQ with an in-office presence of at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create polished sales presentations in response to RFPs and RFIs that include packaged insights that tell a story about the Business Insider brand, first-party data platform, turnkey edit sponsorships/custom content, and media opportunities
  • Work with the Revenue Strategy team to develop media planning strategies based on advertiser objectives
  • Work with Content Producers to deliver a content program informed by data-driven insights, and ensure that the final presentation/deliverable is cohesive.
  • Develop and package insights based on client requests/RFPs using Business Insider’s DMP and various research tools

The Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Experience in working with media, programmatic, custom content, and edit sponsorships opportunities
  • Experience in working with data and extrapolating insights from the data (not just reporting the data). Knowledge of working with first-party data and identifying actionable insights
  • Strategic thinker who can develop a presentation narrative that aligns with RFP or client goals/objectives
  • Excellent time management skills: able to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize competing deliverables to meet deadlines, and actively follow up on pending projects
  • Excellent communication skills: providing clear summaries, feedback, and direction for each stakeholder on next steps
  • Proficient in PowerPoint to create clear and concise presentations
  • Skilled with research tools, for example: Google Analytics, Comscore, MediaRadar, Permutive and/or EMARKETER.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
