We are seeking an experienced Principal Finance Officer for a permanent role in a small team that provides business focussed financial management and financial performance information and analysis to business units and stakeholders in Energy Division, Qld Treasury.

As a key member of Finance team, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-level financial business support functions.
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in financial management services, advice and accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- The ability to successfully build and sustain relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes with team members, key stakeholders and clients.
- High level skills and knowledge of the Queensland Government budget processes and Public Sector financial management policies and practices including financial management and reporting and experience in a range of financial management systems (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Excel).
