Job Description
The scope of the role is to ensure the Quality and Food Safety (QFS) for our entire product and package portfolio across the entire value chain, in the Operating Unit (OU).
What You’ll Do For Us
- Lead QFS projects with the operations in Albania, Italy and across all the countries in the OU with support of OU Senior QFS Director. Address and eliminate existing and potential QFS issues in the spirit of continuous improvement.
- Support the innovation pipeline development and implementation by identifying the optimal processes and technologies that will deliver the QFS expectations in the most competitive way i.e. Quality by Design risk assessments.
- Work closely with Franchise Technical Operations to implement QFS productivity initiatives.
- Lead QFS programs for the OU: i.e. Product Integrity Program, Sensory Program, Master mixing instructions process and tool, other QFS programs required by the technical governance framework or manufacturing practices, as well as other QFS priority initiatives agreed on a global level.
- Provide QFS input and direct support as needed to the Incident Management and Crisis Resolution (IMCR) and other QFS related risks for their troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plan (CAP).
- Collaborate with the Global Audit Organization (GAO) to ensure process consistency, continuous improvement and timely closing of CAPs ensuring deep RCA.
- Monitor QFS performance metrics, drive best practice implementation, innovation in the area of QFS and QFS culture with the bottling partners and copackers as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Quality and Food Safety experience in food & beverage industry. Occupational Health and Safety experience is an advantage.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: strong analytical mindset, with the ability to use data-driven approaches to make informed decisions and implement effective solutions that enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
- Adaptability and Change Management: resilience, flexibility, managing ambiguity, ability to influence teams through transitions, ensuring that quality and food safety standards are maintained or enhanced through changes in processes or technologies
- Collaboration: foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect. The Quality Director should be skilled in promoting cross-functional teamwork and working effectively with diverse groups across the organization to achieve quality and food safety goals.
- Communication and Influence: Good communication skills (English must, Italian as a strong advantage), capable of clearly articulating quality goals, standards, and expectations to stakeholders at all levels within the organization. Ability to influence others, creating a shared commitment to achieving excellence in all aspects of the organization’s operations.
- Travel required up to 25%.
