Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Drafter to join our team at our purpose built manufacturing facility at 9 Malta St, Fairfield East NSW. As a Joinery Drafter, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed drawings and plans for our joinery projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing CAD software, eg Pytha, Alphacam etc, to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for joinery components
• Collaborating with architects, designers, and joinery manufacturers to ensure drawings meet required standards, dimensions, and specifications
• Making revisions or modifications to drawings based on feedback or changes in project requirements
• Working closely with the production team at our manufacturing facility in Fairfield East to ensure seamless fabrication and assembly of joinery components

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Joinery Drafter, with a focus on CAD software
• Proficiency in CAD software, ideally Pytha, with a strong attention to detail Trade qualification in cabinet making or a related field is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of joinery construction techniques and materials
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Hours And Compensation

This is a full-time position. Remuneration range of $82,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation dependent on skills and experience.
