Job Overview

This full-time Junior Industrial Relations position is based in Mumbai at Reliance Industries Limited. The role requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. As part of our team, you will manage labor relations and ensure compliance with various labor laws, while supporting smooth operational functions through effective negotiation and conflict resolution. We seek a proactive team player who can navigate the complexities of industrial relations within our dynamic real estate sector.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Proficient in employee relations strategies to foster a positive working environment and handle disputes effectively.
  • Understanding of labor law compliance to ensure company adherence to all relevant local and national regulations.
  • Knowledge of Labour Laws, Factory Act, and prior experience in similar set-up
  • Strong conflict resolution abilities for managing and resolving disputes among employees or union representatives efficiently.
  • Knowledge in collective bargaining processes and techniques pivotal for managing union contracts and agreements.
  • Experience with HRIS software to manage employee information and streamline HR operations effectively.
  • Capable in union relations management, with the ability to coordinate with union members and representatives seamlessly.
  • Analytics and reporting skills to monitor, analyze, and report on various HR metrics and trends for informed decision-making.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees and union representatives to foster a cooperative working environment.
  • Ensure the organizations compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations to avoid legal disputes.
  • Conduct negotiations on behalf of the company in matters related to collective bargaining agreements.
  • Resolve employee grievances and disputes through appropriate conflict resolution techniques and strategies.
  • Coordinate with the HR department to align industrial relations strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and advice to management on labor law changes and industrial relations best practices.
  • Monitor and report on industrial relations trends and issues to senior management with in-depth analysis and recommendations.
  • Manage union relations including agreements, attending meetings, and representing the company in union negotiations.
