We are looking for a proactive and creative Digital Content & Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. This role will involve developing, curating, and managing digital content across social media platforms and websites. You will be responsible for content creation, social media strategy, and website updates/maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management, website content updates, and a strong understanding of HTML to make minor site changes and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Management:
  • Develop and manage engaging content (blog posts, articles, social media content, emails, etc) for various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, eNewsletters, etc.)
  • Planning and creating visuals for social media posts, website content, or email campaigns
  • Write, edit, and proofread product descriptions, landing page copy, website content, blog posts, and other digital materials
  • Create and optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings
  • Design social media posts, graphics, and videos to enhance brand awareness and engagement
  • Social Media Strategy & Execution:
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with the brand’s marketing strategy.
  • Manage day-to-day social media accounts, posting schedules, and engage with followers
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience insights, and competitor activities to adjust content strategies
  • Run paid campaigns or assist in campaign strategy
  • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Engaging with the audience and handling customer queries on social platforms
  • SEO & Analytics:
  • Optimizing content for SEO to drive organic traffic
  • Monitoring social media and website analytics to measure performance
  • Conducting keyword research for blog posts or social media content
  • Website Updates & Maintenance
  • Oversee the day-to-day updates and maintenance of the company website
  • Create and upload content, images, and videos, ensuring it aligns with branding and marketing goals
  • Use HTML to make basic updates and troubleshoot website issues
  • Work with web developers to improve the user experience, enhance website performance, and ensure content accuracy
  • Email Marketing:
  • Design, create, and distribute email newsletters and other promotional campaigns
  • Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and other relevant email performance metrics
  • Maintain and update email lists and ensure content aligns with segmentation strategies
  • Communication & Reporting:
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media and website content
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on analytics to optimize content strategies
  • Use Google Analytics, social media insights, and other tools to measure traffic and engagement
  • Provide clear updates and action items to marketing team
  • Documentation and Records:
  • Create, monitor, and complete tasks in systems
  • Document processes and records in an organized and accessible system, updating regularly
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously assess processes and propose improvements for increased efficiency and effectiveness
  • Research Tasks:
  • Stay informed of recent industry updates
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and campaigns to promote services

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Digital Content Coordinator, Social Media Manager, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, with the ability to make basic website updates and troubleshoot common issues
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics)
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • Understanding of SEO best practices for digital content
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

45,000 – 60,000 USD per year(Remote)
