Tasks

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service, customer satisfaction, and optimal operational efficiency. This includes monitoring all service areas and addressing any issues that may arise promptly.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain a motivated and efficient team, fostering an environment that encourages growth and excellence in service. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate food orders, manage menu updates, and work closely with chefs to introduce new dishes that align with customer preferences and seasonal availability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests by implementing effective resolution strategies and seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to keep the restaurant well-stocked and running efficiently, while also managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to optimize costs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and guests.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant management software and point of sale systems.
