Regional Sales & Channel Manager (SEA)

Location: Sri Lanka, covering Southeast Asia (SEA) Region

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales & Channel Manager to expand our presence in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region from our base in Sri Lanka.

Job Description: As a Regional Sales & Channel Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and channel partnerships for our ERP and Software Business Applications across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. This dynamic role requires a strong individual contributor who can also lead a team of sales professionals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and penetrate key markets in the SEA region.
  • Channel Management: Build and manage a network of channel partners, resellers, and distributors to extend market reach and drive sales in the region.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to closure, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up on opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, pre-sales, and product development to drive product enhancements, customer success, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, channel management, and team leadership, preferably in the IT/software industry.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and Software Business Applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results independently.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other SEA languages is advantageous.
  • Experience working in the Southeast Asia (SEA) market is highly desirable.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel within the SEA region as needed.
