Job Description
We are working exclusively with a climate tech startup who is looking for a Recruiter & People Operations Manager to join their People team. This role involves managing recruiting and the employee lifecycle, from sourcing, interviewing through to onboarding across multiple locations and supporting on some People projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring great talent is hired and employees are set up for success.
The position offers flexibility to work remotely or from the office, with occasional in-office requirements to handle employment-related documentation. Proximity to the office in Berlin is necessary for ease of commuting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, HR operations: contracts, onboarding and EOR management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and GDPR across locations.
- Enhance candidate and employee experience
- Manage the ATS (TeamTailor) and HR systems, ensure data accuracy, and lead vendor negotiations.
- Develop hiring and onboarding policies and advise employees and managers on best practices.
Requirements
- Experience in fast-paced, startup environments.
- Experienced in Recruitment of various roles (tech as well as business roles)
- Knowledge of HR operations and German labor laws.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and execution skills.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in dynamic settings.
- Proven success in process improvement and automation.
- Fluency in English and German.
