Position Overview:

GPW is seeking a dynamic Managing Director to lead our Group Captives division. This role is ideal for a visionary with deep expertise in captive insurance, strong accounting and finance acumen, and a passion for delivering measurable results.
Your Impact:
- Shape and execute the strategic direction of the Group Captives division, ensuring alignment with GPW’s growth objectives.
- Spearhead initiatives to expand the Group Captives portfolio, driving profitability and client satisfaction.
- Oversee the formation, management, and administration of captive insurance entities, ensuring strict regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulators, advocating for the interests of Group Captives members.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop innovative risk management and financial solutions tailored to client needs.
- Lead with superior accounting and finance expertise to guide financial decision-making and ensure fiscal responsibility within the Group Captives division.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous development.
- Present reports to executives and the board, outlining performance metrics, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the insurance industry, including 5+ years in a leadership role with a focus on captive insurance.
- Certifications: ACI (Associate in Captive Insurance), CPA, or MBA preferred.
- Expertise: Strong accounting/finance acumen with extensive knowledge of group captives, alternative risk financing, and regulatory environments.
- Skills: Proven strategic planning and execution capabilities, outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership: A motivational leader with a track record of building cohesive teams and fostering professional growth.
