Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 5 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage. Experience in Asset and Wealth Management is a plus. The role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using IBM Infosphere Datastage to ensure efficient data integration.
- Design and implement data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract transform and load data from various sources.
- Create and manage Unix Shell Scripts to automate data processing tasks and improve system performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes data models and system configurations.
- Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data integration processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues.
Qualifications
- Must have strong experience in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage.
- Nice to have experience in Asset and Wealth Management domain.
- Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Must have strong communication skills in English (Read/Write Speak).
- Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
