What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Review patient accounts denied for insurance reimbursement and manage the appeal process
  • Communicate daily with management regarding trends identified in audits and appeals
  • Respond to queries within 72 hours and document all activities in relevant systems
  • Submit requests for medical records and itemized bills as needed
  • Ensure confidentiality of all patient accounts by adhering to HIPAA guidelines

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Six months to one year of related experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Email software
  • Ability to meet quality and quantity benchmark targets set by management
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with financial service units

  • Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.)
